Guster Announces Lineup For Second Annual On The Ocean Festival

Guster are excited to announce the lineup for their second annual On The Ocean Festival in Portland, Maine on August 3rd, 4th & 5th. Last year’s On The Ocean weekend saw 5,000 Guster fans take over the New England city.
The weekend will kick off on Friday, August 3rd at The State Theatre with Caroline Rose as support. Tickets are on-sale now. Saturday the 4th begins with a Reverb service project hosted by Guster’s Adam Gardner (details TBA) and will follow with an evening concert at Thompson’s Point. Kishi Bashi, The Secret Sisters and the young winners of the Maine Academy of Modern Music’s 2018 MAMM SLAM: Maine’s High School Rock Off will open for Guster. Tickets are also on-sale for Saturday now. On The Ocean weekend wraps on Sunday with Guster Day at the Sea Dogs’ stadium, Hadlock Field. The Sea Dogs are Portland’s minor league baseball team and fans will be invited to hang out with the band in the morning as they play catch on the field, throw out the first pitch and sit with them as they watch the game. Tickets are only $9 for adults and $6 for children.
The band chose Portland as the location because of their long history with the city – both with Adam living there and running Reverb headquarters there, as well as filming their Guster On Ice live concert film at the State Theatre in Portland.
