Great Lake Swimmers Release ‘They Don’t Make Them Like That Anymore’ Holiday EP

November 27, 2017 BY Nettwerk

Canadian indie darlings Great Lake Swimmers have released a holiday new EP titled They Don’t Make Them Like That Anymore.  Consisting of two original songs such as the title track “They Don’t Make Them Like That Anymore”, which is “a nostalgia-tinged song about the days before thoughtless consumerism and memories of those we’ve lost over the years” says GLS front man Tony Dekker, as well as “Ink For A Star”, a striking winter word collage of things remembered from Canadian winters as a child. Additionally, the EP features two classic Christmas covers, “It Came Upon A Midnight Clear” and 17th century yuletide carol, “Bring A Torch, Jeanette, Isabella.”

They Don’t Make Them Like that Anymore is available now worldwide on iTunes and Spotify via Nettwerk.
