October 13, 2023 BY Emma Orland
Today, Amistat, the exceptional German born musical duo comprising of twin brothers Josef and Jan Prasil, return with a lush heartfelt song, “Same Old Eyes.” Taking listeners on a journey, “Same Old Eyes” is a personal story filled with emotions as Josef and Jan reflect and explore their past experience on their father’s health after his decision to retire. “Same Old Eyes” follows the duo’s vibrancy as they effortlessly shined on their March 2023 EP, colour in life. They share, “‘Same Old Eyes’ was inspired by our father and his journey to find his purpose again after recently retiring. He has been battling both physical pains and mental health challenges ever since his motorbike accident 15 years ago.” “Same Old Eyes” is available on all digital streaming platforms here: https://amistat.ffm.to/sameoldeyes.
