FLYTE RELEASE THEIR NEW FULL-LENGTH ALBUM ‘BETWEEN YOU AND ME’

September 2, 2025 BY Bailey Vigliaturo

Today, the beloved UK band Flyte returns with their fourth full-length, Between You and Me, their most open and vulnerable record to date. Anchored by expert-level songwriting, Will Taylor and Nick Hill channeled a sonic and emotional closeness in singles “Alabaster,” ft Aimee Mann, “I’m So Down,” “Hurt People,” “Emily and Me,” and “I’m Not There.” Written mere weeks before joining legendary producer Ethan Johns (Paul McCartney, Laura Marling) in his studio, the duo aimed to capture a snapshot in time with their new ten-song effort.

The result is an album that feels entirely lived in, like these songs are transmissions from the front lines of life, documented in a way that only emphasizes what informed them. These songs are up, down, infatuated, dejected, ostracized, and amused—all the feelings, all true of any relationship, given enough time and space and life. Taylor and Hill have always been Flyte, of course. But Flyte has never represented their lives so clearly in songs sung so poignantly, as if they’re realizing where they are right now in real-time.

Flyte is also excited to bring their new music on the road to North America, the UK, and Europe! They’ll kick things off on September 10th  at Concorde 2 in Brighton and conclude at the O2 Kentish Town Forum in London on September 26th. From there, Will and Nick will make a grand return to North America, playing their largest venues in the territory to date. Later this year, they will return to Europe, with routing through Switzerland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, and France.
