Family Of The Year Celebrate Release With KCRW & Amoeba; Watch “Make You Mine” Video

LA-based Family Of The Year celebrates the release of their self-titled LP with in-store performances at Amoeba Records in Hollywood (September 1 at 6PM PST) and Amoeba Records in San Francisco (September 4 at 5:30 PST).

Starting November 5, the band embarks on a series of North American dates, including two shows at Los Angeles’ iconic Troubadour and New York City’s Gramercy Theatre (See below for itinerary).
Recorded in Berlin and back home in Los Angeles, the forthcoming album delivers an exciting musical progression with a more electric sound than previous releases. Family Of The Year gained notoriety with “Hero” from 2012’s Loma Vista and its featured appearance in the Oscar-nominated, Golden Globe winning film Boyhood. With 90 million combined YouTube and Spotify streams, “Hero” also became a Top 10 hit in Austria, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland.
