Elliot Moss shares deluxe edition of his seminal work ‘Highspeeds’ (Expanded — 10th Anniversary)

August 22, 2025 BY Emma Orland

New York–based singer, songwriter, and producer Elliot Moss releases the deluxe edition of his seminal work Highspeeds (Expanded – 10th Anniversary), out now via Nettwerk. Originally released in 2015, when Moss was only eighteen, Highspeeds helped catapult his career, thanks in part to the viral hit “Slip.” The expanded anniversary edition features two newly completed songs, “Bad Neighbors” and “Float,” unearthed from the original recording sessions and finished by Moss ten years later. They appear alongside “Minimal” versions of “Slip,” “Highspeeds,” and “Even Great Things,” offering fans a fresh take on the original tracks.

Elliot is excited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Highspeeds live on tour this fall, performing the album in full. He invites fans to join him in revisiting the record. The shows begin September 21 in Mexico City at Foro Indie Rocks, followed by Los Angeles on September 24 at Zebulon, and New York City on October 1 at National Sawdust. ABOUT ELLIOT MOSS:

Elliot Moss, an inveterate musician raised in the recording studio, has devoted much of his life to dreaming up sonic worlds with a strangely transportive power. With the 10th anniversary release of Highspeeds, he reflects on the record’s impact on his career. His soulful vocals and embrace of electronic, jazz, and ambient sounds have resonated with fans, establishing Elliot as one of the most innovative indie-electronic artists of the past decade.

Highspeeds earned Elliot early critical recognition, winning media praise from Billboard, Stereogum, The FADER, SPIN, and more. He’s toured and performed around the world alongside artists like Cold War Kids, Chicano Batman, Oh Wonder, Editors, and others, appearing at notable festivals like SXSW, Corona Capitol, Reeperbahn, and more.

Since his first viral success at eighteen with “Slip,” Elliot’s music has amassed over 350M streams worldwide. When famed American dancer Phillip Chbeeb used “Slip” in his captivating, choreographed dance, it cemented Elliot as a go-to artist for the dance community. His music continues to have a lasting impact on the dance world to this day.

The success of Highspeeds not only carved Elliot’s path over the next decade as a renowned artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, but it also became a cornerstone of the experimental indie-electronic movement that shaped the sound of the 2010s alongside artists like Bon Iver, Chet Faker, James Blake, and more.
