Portland, OR-based indie folk troubadour Eddie Berman returns with “Looking In,” his first new music of 2023 and a taste of what’s to come on his upcoming album, details forthcoming. Berman first arrived in 2014 with his debut EP Blood & Rust, featuring his duet of “Dancing in the Dark” with British folk icon Laura Marling. His profile grew on international tours and with the release of his first LP, 2014’s Polyhymnia, followed by 2017’s Before The Bridge, and 2019’s Frontiers. These releases saw him reach new milestones, generating over 100 million streams on coveted Spotify playlists like Your Favorite Coffeehouse, Acoustic Covers, and The Pulse of Americana, and spurring tours with Laura Marling, Tyler Childers, Passenger and Lee Ann Womack. Recorded remotely during the global pause, 2021’s Broken English earned him attention from the likes of Forbes, American Songwriter, Big Takeover, Spin, Americana-UK and more.
