October 25, 2024 BY Bailey Vigliaturo
TODAY—Canadian-American ambient pop artist Hollie Kenniff is excited to confirm the release of her upcoming album For Forever, due December 6, 2024, via Nettwerk. For Forever is unquestionably Hollie Kenniff’s most gorgeous and emotive work yet. The Canadian-American ambient pop artist’s fourth full-length is streaked with lush, dense thickets of melody—patiently building to a satisfying payoff of a crescendo while always keeping the listener on the edge of their figurative seat. Spanning electronic and acoustic soundwaves, For Forever delivers miles of endless bliss, resulting in Kenniff’s most satisfying statement to date.
Hollie is excited to share the title track from the new album “For Forever,” a lush and immersive ambient listening experience featuring her son on piano to celebrate the news. This album is a communal gathering; this single is an exemplary piece of the familial puzzle. She shares, “I think people are drawn to authenticity, so I try to let the music speak for itself rather than relying on hype or following certain trends which are quickly worn out or forgotten.”
“For Forever” is available on all streaming platforms here.

Fittingly, For Forever, comprised of material written and recorded over the last several years dating back to 2021, sounds flesh-and-blood even in its most ethereal moments. Every one of its 11 tracks sounds like a mini-revelation, not unlike Sigur Rós’ instrumental work or the fuzzy dreamscapes of Will Wiesenfeld’s Geotic project.
Kenniff’s latest LP, which also doubles as her debut release on Nettwerk Label Group, follows last year’s fantastic and evocatively titled We All Have Places That We Miss—and it’s another impressive jewel in a career that’s been steadily moving for more than 15 years, since her days in the electronic pop outfit Mint Julep with her husband Keith Kenniff, who also records as Helios and Goldmund.
“I work on music almost every day, and it’s an extremely important part of my life,” Kenniff explains while discussing the long arc of her career and her impressive creative production ethic. “I’m always focusing on themes of human emotion and the natural world.”
