Current Swell Announces Spring Tour Dates; Listen To “When To Talk and When To Listen”
March 8, 2018 BY Nettwerk
Vancouver’s Current Swell announce a U.S. headlining tour, starting April 5. The spring dates are to support their forthcoming When To Talk And When To Listen Acoustics Versions EP (out March 30 via Nettwerk Records).
The EP was recorded with Colin Stewart (New Pornographers, Black Mountain) and features acoustic renditions of key tracks off their latest album When To Talk and When To Listen, which was produced by Grammy-winning producer Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Tom Waits, Norah Jones, Cold War Kids, Of Monsters and Men, James Bay). Current Swell has a proven track record at home with the title track currently sitting Top 30 (#28) at Active Radio. A solid fanbase has taken the group across four continents – North America, South America, Europe, and Australia.
“We are stoked to hit the road again for round 2 of our touring to support ‘When To Talk And When To Listen.’ We also made an EP of alternative acoustic versions of a few of our favorites off the album,” says Dave Lang (vocals/guitars).
Current Swell is Scott Stanton (lead vocals/guitars), Dave Lang (vocals/guitars), Louis Sadava (vocals/bass) and Chris Petersen (drums).
