Today, rising pop voices Caleb Hearn and Jenna Raine have unveiled their emotionally charged new single “BITE THE BULLET” via Nettwerk.
Caleb Hearn and Jenna Raine trade verses in a candid, call-and-response style—his warm grit meeting her shimmering clarity—before their voices collide in a soaring, shout-along chorus. “BITE THE BULLET” feels like a head-rush of late-night courage—a cathartic, neon-lit anthem that dares listeners to dive heart-first, even if it hurts. It’s the perfect collision of Caleb’s confessional storytelling and Jenna’s fearless vulnerability, wrapped in a hook-heavy pop package destined for repeat spins.
Caleb Hearn shares, “‘BITE THE BULLET’ is one of the first songs we wrote on my first writing trip at the end of last year. I met with some of my favorite writers and friends in the mountains of Tennessee to get away from everything and just write. We loved the energy we tapped into with this one. It was an instant vibe that we wanted to run with. After writing the song, we really felt like it needed another perspective, and Jenna Raine was the perfect fit. Her voice really added to the energy of the song.’”
Fresh off her recently released Only Started Growing EP, Jenna’s presence brings a poignant contrast to the song’s dual perspectives on emotional risk and romantic restraint. She reveals, “This song is about pretending to be okay while secretly caring a lot about someone. It shows the struggle of hiding your feelings and being willing to get hurt for the chance of falling in love.”
For Caleb Hearn, “BITE THE BULLET” follows his May single, “THE LOWS.” He’ll bring his heartfelt music for the first time to European audiences with a tour this September.
