July 27, 2023 BY Jason Currell

Singer, songwriter, and producer Bre Kennedy is excited to announce her sophomore full-length album, Scream Over Everything, will be out November 10 via Nettwerk. Alongside this announcement, Bre is releasing a glimpse at the album in the form of an EP, Scream Over Everything (Side A). Listeners are invited into an intimate conversation with Bre as she shares her most revealing songs yet, disclosing her innermost thoughts, fears and dreams as she navigates through the noise of the world and learns to accept her truest self. Scream Over Everything (Side A) will be available tomorrow, July 28, on all streaming platforms here.

“It’s called ‘Scream Over Everything’ because I wrote these songs about screaming over all of the noise around me, whether it’s social media, the chaos of the world, or the stories I’ve been telling myself…The whole record feels visceral and alive. It’s about returning to myself now. Previously, my writing was very nostalgic—this album is intentionally very present,” shares Bre.

Bre will celebrate the cathartic release of this first set of songs with a special hometown show in Nashville on July 30th at 3rd and Lindsley as part of Lightning100’s acclaimed weekly concert series “Nashville Sunday Night, She has also announced fall tour dates starting  September 28th at Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta, and making stops in D.C. at DC9Chicago at SchubasPhiladelphia at World Cafe LiveNew York at Mercury Lounge, and more before wrapping up in Boston at Deep Cuts on October 15th. Initially teased with the inviting anthems “Navigating” and “Retrospect,” which Bre recently performed gorgeous live acoustic renditions of for Taylor Guitars, Bre announced her fall headline tour with her third single, “Meantime.”

“I’d love for the listener to feel empowered to acknowledge something in themselves and to feel seen when they hear these songs this year….if you’re in a season of growth or the turning of a chapter, I want you to celebrate where you’re at presently in your healing journey. I hope these songs can hold that space to let it all out. And I hope you dance,” shares Bre.
