BAY LEDGES SHARES NEW SINGLE “SWIM TO THE BOUY”

Today, indie-electronic artist Bay Ledges shares his dreamy new single “swim to the bouy.” The track follows his July EP, Cloud Achieves Vol., 1, and the February release of the deluxe version of his sophomore album, Rivers. The nautical themed song channels the nostalgia that comes with sunlit childhood memories. He explains, “I went on a solo writing retreat in northern California for a few days and made this song. I had a view of the Pacific while working and was reminded of being a kid and watching my dad in the ocean, in his element. I remembered being bored and wanting to play video games, not realizing how special that time would be. A lot of important people in my life have, and have had, their own deep connection to the ocean. I was just thinking about all of them while writing this.”

Known for his enthrallingly energetic live show, Bay Ledges has spent the last few years on the road sharing stages like Red Rocks and The Greek with acts like Goth Babe, Yoke Lore, Big Wild, Trevor Hall, Magic City Hippies, and The Palms and selling out headline shows. Since releasing his 2022 debut album, Ritual, Bay Ledges has garnered over 100 million streams worldwide and received praise from Rolling Stone, Billboard, Under The Radar, and Flood. Partly written in response to the death of several family members of singer/songwriter/producer Zach Hurd, his latest album, Rivers, is an enthralling reflection on love, loss, and change.  Referring to two distinct bodies of water in his home state of Maine, Rivers infuses each track with equal parts unguarded feeling and unfettered playful imagination, expanding on his 2022 debut’s kaleidoscopic sound and embracing an even more free-form approach to songcraft and production.
