While Melbourne-based The Outdoor Type, aka singer/songwriter Zack Buchanan, will still be new to many, The Outdoor Type has been picking up fans worldwide after the release of last year’s debut EP.  The self-titled EP delivered two tracks – “Are You Happy” and “When The Sun Goes Down” – which, both landed on Triple J radio and reached #1 on Australia’s non-comm radio chart.  Later that year, Buchanan followed-up with the self-produced single “On My Mind.”  Mixed by Steve Schramm (Little Red, San Cisco) in Melbourne, “On My Mind” is a lively, scrappy rock song with a driving groove and a instantly catchy melody.
