Known for her raw emotion, poignant storytelling, and bittersweet melodies, the Australian singer-songwriter crafts songs that leave a lasting impression—long after the final note. With a growing global audience and critical recognition, she’s fast becoming one of the most compelling voices in indie-pop. 

 

Named Beat Magazine’s Artist to Watch in 2023, Sidney’s upward momentum continued into 2024 with a breakout year. Her viral covers of “Truly Madly Deeply,” “Simply the Best,” and “Adore U” collectively amassed over 13 million views across TikTok and Instagram, with “Truly Madly Deeply” alone reaching more than 7 million views, inspiring over 20,900 TikTok videos, and racking up 2.8 million Spotify streams. These renditions have become wedding soundtracks across the globe, further solidifying her emotional reach and broad appeal.  

 

Her live presence took a major leap forward when she joined international trio Tiny Habits as main support for their first Australian headline show in January 2024 (when touring with Gracie Abrams) and made such a strong first impression that she was invited back to complete a full national tour with them. She’s also shared the stage with some of Australia’s most beloved acts including Angus & Julia Stone, The Rubens, Harrison Storm, Gretta Ray, Mia Wray, Bones & Jones, Shannen James, and Ben Abraham. Whether performing with a full band or captivating a crowd solo with just her guitar, Sidney’s shows are known for their sincerity, humour, and magnetic connection with the audience—qualities that have made her a go-to support act across the country. 

 

A versatile creative behind the scenes, Sidney has written with a growing list of acclaimed artists including 360, Drew Kennedy, The Young Fables, Ūla, GRAACE, San Joseph, and Eliott—proving her strength not only as a performer but as a trusted collaborator and storyteller.  

 

Her 2023 sophomore EP Sore Loser—featuring fan favourites “Cool Girl” and “Bad Light”—was met with widespread acclaim. It received editorial support from Spotify (New Music Friday AU & NZ, Fresh Finds, Pop n’ Fresh, Equal AU & NZ), Apple Music (New Music Daily), and earned triple j Unearthed’s Track of the Day, alongside commercial radio play on NOVA FM and triple j. The project culminated in a sold-out headline show in Melbourne. Her debut EP Imposter (2022) laid early groundwork, with over 700,000 streams and strong playlist momentum. 

 

Recently signing a global deal with Nettwerk, Sidney spent all of May 2025 writing in Nashville, spending the month writing daily with some of the city’s most respected and exciting creatives—marking a pivotal new chapter in her career as she lays the foundation for international touring and future releases. She also was flown by fans around the world to perform at their weddings throughout the year, most recently Tuscany, Italy.
