Electronic artist MÒZÂMBÎQÚE is a collaborator and beat maker whose music has found a unique stride, combining psychedelia, ambient, and vapor soul. Breaking away from the band mentality and being able to work alone, the enigmatic MÒZÂMBÎQÚE allowed the project to take shape wherever it ventured, collaborating with hip-hop artists, R&B singers, and members of the United States Marine Band. With new experiences and deepened skills, the latest recordings are a more expansive, focused blend of chill wave and electronic music. Self-produced (several tracks were co-produced by Math Bishop), the two EPs will come together into an album (set for release on Nettwerk Records) and is a true reflection of the times. Regarding the project titles, MÒZÂMBÎQÚE says, "without a doubt, this year has affected everyone. We may have all had different experiences, but one way or another, it has changed our worlds. It’s become part of our history. Over the last year, I’ve thought a lot about losing touch with my friends, and I’ve become a bit nostalgic for the idea of just writing to someone and saying hello, checking in, seeing how they’re doing. So, I decided to name these three pieces after email/letter sign-offs."
