Marmozets

Hailing from Bingley, Yorkshire, Marmozets first exploded onto the scene as fearless teenagers, their sibling-powered lineup delivering chaotic shows far beyond their years. Early buzz led to a deal with Roadrunner Records US and debut album The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets, which won Kerrang!’s Album of the Year and earned major acclaim, followed by global touring for Knowing What You Know Now. Then the band went quiet – but only publicly. Behind the scenes, life was shifting as Becca and Jack became parents, giving the band space to reset without pressure or industry noise.

A spontaneous songwriting spark on a quiet night rekindled everything. Reconnecting with their DIY roots, they crafted new music with Josh producing early demos and Sam moving to bass. Streamlining to a four-piece brought a tougher, melody-driven sound inspired by The Cramps and Devo. Their first new creation, “New York,” captured both nostalgia and renewed ambition.

Recording with producer Johnathan Gilmore at Coastal Sound reignited their chemistry, pushing them into sharper, more focused territory. The result is a return with teeth: punchy, hook-loaded songs like “Cut Back” and the explosive comeback single “A Kiss From A Mother,” powered by Becca’s raw, unfiltered vocals and honest emotional grit.

Now re-energised, Marmozets are ready to reconnect with fans and charge into a new chapter with intent: to create boldly, push forward, and prove that true creatives still have a place in the world.
