Graeme James has built a large and loyal fan base in his native New Zealand and beyond with his captivating live shows and unique folk style, performing with the aid of a loop pedal to layer electric violin, guitar, bass, baritone ukulele, mandolin, harmonica, percussion, and beatboxing in his one-man-band sound. His 2016 debut album News From Nowhere peaked at #3 on New Zealand album chart and #26 on the Top 40 album chart. It was also a finalist in the NZ Music Awards 2017 Folk Album of the Year.
