We shot this in Turin, which is a city where Argento made ‘Profondo Rosso.’ Thematically, I was inspired by the idea of creating a main character and a doppelgänger, a sort of a ‘real’ self and a shadow self. Also, I was really excited to perform getting killed and be covered in blood on camera.”
