Alt Singer/Songwriter JON BRYANT Asks “would you call me up?”

March 25, 2022 BY Danielle Romeo

Alternative singer, songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Jon Bryant shares his new song “would you call me up?”, a ballad about the ebb and flow of intensity in the early parts of a relationship. Bryant says, “It starts off about that moment when you realize that the person you cared about is something more than a casual connection…it exposes the phases and ever-changing intensity that we go through in relationships. Sometimes that person is all you can think about…and other times you need the space to grow on your own.”

JON BRYANT IN THE PRESS…

“The reflective offering is certainly a relatable one, but especially in the wake of the last couple of years, it definitely hits differently. That raw sense of emotion, yearning, and aching is evident not only in Bryant’s hypnotic vocals, but in his confessional lyrics, which are simply poetic.” Variance Magazine

“The dreamy single finds a similar lushness to Beach House’s production style, while finding a glossy state with his reverb-filled vocals and ethereal hook.” –Dusty Organ

“Jon Bryant has emerged as a powerful indie-folk artist who is bound to achieve immense success.” Beyond the Stage Magazine
