Hana Lili

Hana Lili is on a mission to pursue her truth. For the Welsh artist, songwriting has always been a way to make sense of what words can’t quite hold. Her self-titled EP, Hana, marks her boldest step yet — an intimate collection that distils emotion into its rawest form.

Blending confessional storytelling with the dynamic spirit of 90s and early 00s alt-rock, Hana crafts songs that balance vulnerability and power. Drawing inspiration from artists like Alanis Morissette, Radiohead and Gwen Stefani, she channels emotional honesty through soaring melodies and unfiltered energy. Each song feels like a conversation with herself — an exploration of identity, doubt, and the small moments that shape who we are.

Written and co-produced alongside Mark Vallance (Tom Walker), Ben Beetham (Kid Kapichi, Hot Wax), Mike Horner (Karen Dio) and Chris Ostler (Black Honey), Hana’s music merges introspection with rebellion, turning personal chaos into connection.

Raised in Wales and a first-language Welsh speaker, Hana’s sense of place runs deep. Her roots in the Welsh Eisteddfod tradition — a celebration of language, music, and storytelling — instilled in her a lasting belief in the power of creative expression.

With a sound that bridges intimacy and universality, Hana Lili stands as one of alt-pop’s most distinct and fearless emerging voices.
