The track offers the first glimpse of Jake Isaac’s upcoming 10 Years Later album… a heartfelt collection revisiting songs and moments from a decade ago (more details on the release very soon).

As Jake explains, “10 Years Later… I still can’t believe I’m saying that after a whole decade of making and releasing music. From small rooms to wild stages, from late-night sessions to dream collaborations with actual legends…it’s been surreal. But none of it (none of it!) would’ve happened without the ones who found my music early on, and the ones still riding with me today. I’ve been thinking a lot about those early days. The rough cuts. The raw ideas. The hunger. It would be easy to cringe at my older work…but honestly? I’ve come to love it. Because the journey matters just as much as the destination. So as a thank-you (and a full-circle moment), I’m re-releasing some of that early music. Not as who I was, but as who I am now, looking back with gratitude. My re-offering… 10 Years Later.”

About Jake Isaac:

Born and raised in South London, and now based in Manchester, Isaac began playing drums at the age of 3 and during his school years taught himself to play piano and bass guitar. By the age of 16, he had completed his grade 8 drums and had begun teaching the instrument.  By 19, Isaac had begun to make a living as a part-time session musician playing drums and bass on various jazz and rock records for a variety of international artists, including the Grammy award-winning Duffy.

Marketing manager by day, a songwriter and session musician by night, Jake began working with artists such as Cynthia Erivo, Gabrielle, and the British boy band Blue. Soon after, Jake began to try his hand at writing songs for himself, eventually landing his first major festival opening ‘The Other Stage’ at the world-renowned Glastonbury festival. Signing to the iconic Sir Elton John’s Rocket Music, Jake Isaac has since worked with and supported a diverse range of artists from Sting, India Arie, Ella Eyre, Paloma Faith, Lake Street Dive, Joan As Police Woman, Angus and Julia Stone, Tori Kelly and Elton John himself.

Jake’s distinctive style of singer-songwriter/soul has earned him widespread plaudits as a singer and multi-instrumentalist, selling out headline shows in the UK, Germany, USA, Netherlands and across Europe and earned him a place as one of the winners of the highly acclaimed International Songwriters Competition award 2020.

Jake’s latest acclaimed full-length album BENJAMIN was released in October 2024 via Nettwerk. This album sees him daring to confront the big issues in his life that really matter – family, faith, heritage, hope, love and a whole lot more – all channelled with a searing voice of soul sophistication and powered by a gospel heart.
