Hard Rock Trailblazer PINKNOISE Unleashes Haunting New Single “FLESH AND BONE”
September 26, 2025 BY Emma Orland
On the heels of their debut EP HUMAN=KIND, rising hard rock trailblazer PINKNOISE (aka Kacey Foxx) releases their new single “FLESH AND BONE” featuring Ben Anderson (Nothing More) on drums. Equal parts harsh and haunting, the track claws its way into the psyche with jagged riffs, industrial undertones, and a vocal performance that veers between guttural intensity and fragile vulnerability. Listen HERE.
“‘FLESH AND BONE’ is the sound of being ripped open and left vulnerable,” Foxx explains. “It’s eerie, heavy, and uncomfortable on purpose. It’s about what it feels like to be judged as not enough, no matter how much of yourself you give. The song is raw honesty wrapped in distortion, where the worms under the skin are the thoughts that never stop gnawing at you. It’s my most vulnerable self put into my music thus far, and allows people to view a side of me that they have yet to see. Intense, undisguised and sincere.”
“FLESH AND BONE” follows the recent release of PINKNOISE’s EP HUMAN=KIND, a cathartic collection that celebrates identity, rage, and hope. Produced by longtime collaborator Hiram Hernandez (Blessthefall, Magnolia Park, Bush), the four-track release fuses metalcore ferocity, djent precision, soul-baring R&B vocals, and razor-sharp pop hooks. PINKNOISE, the genre-bending musical project created by Foxx, has taken the music world by storm in the span of just one year since the release of their debut single “NEVER LAST.” Since then, PINKNOISE has amassed over a million streams across DSPs, hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, and signed to Nettwerk. However, the biggest reward for Foxx has been the impact they’ve had on fans, who look to them as a representation for the LGBTQIA+ community in a disproportionately male-dominated scene. With the release of HUMAN=KINDand more music on the way, it’s only a matter of time before PINKNOISE reaches their next destination: straight to the stars.
