Alt-pop singer-songwriter Katelyn Tarver is ushering in a bold new chapter with her single “#1” out today via Nettwerk. The propulsive track marks the beginning of a fresh era of music for the LA-based artist—one defined by risk, reinvention, and fearless introspection.
A defiant anthem of personal freedom and reclamation, “#1” races forward with high-tempo urgency—blending drum-and-bass-inflected rhythms with sparkling 90s/early 2000s singer-songwriter textures.
