PINKNOISE

“PINKNOISE is exactly who I am and that means for me to tell my story as raw and authentically as possible,” Kacey Foxx declares when dissecting the core mission behind their genre-bending musical project PINKNOISE that has taken the music world by storm in the span of just one year since the release of their debut single “NEVER LAST.” PINKNOISE is the vehicle for Foxx to be fearlessly and unapologetically themselves. Whether they are seamlessly weaving high-octane metalcore, djent and pummeling breakdowns with R&B-inflected vocal performances and infectious pop hooks, Foxx understands PINKNOISE works best when rules are broken and risks are taken. These artistic risks have paid off for PINKNOISE, having amassed over a million streams across DSPs, hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, and signing to Nettwerk. However, the biggest reward for Foxx has been the impact they’ve had on fans, who look to them as a representation for the LGBTQIA+ community in a disproportionately male-dominated scene. Upon linking up with their longtime collaborator Hiram Hernandez (As I Lay Dying, Magnolia Park), they crafted the debut EP, HUMAN=KIND. The EP embodies Foxx’s formative influences, ranging from rock, to Nu Metal, to early 2000s R&B, all filtered through a sleek and modern sound. With the new music on the way and plans to dominate the touring circuit, it’s only a matter of time before PINKNOISE reaches their next destination: straight to the stars.
