UK PSYCH-POP DUO THE FLINTS SHARE WHIRLWIND NEW SINGLE “THE END IS THE END” 

Today, Manchester-based psych-pop duo and multifaceted creative powerhouse twins, The Flints, share an addictive whirlwind new single, “The End is the End” out today on Nettwerk. Listen and share HERE.

The band have been building a steady stream of new fans and champions across their run of major support dates with Justice in the US and UK, as well as their sublime feature on Justice’s acclaimed ‘HYPERDRAMA’ among many other accolades, industry and musician co-signs along the way. 

“The End is the End” is a further refinement of The Flints’ already acclaimed style; fusing charged and compelling instrumentation with thought provoking, philosophical lyrics, sweet harmonies and a perfectly judged dose of nostalgia via nods to idols of psych, pop and alternative. 

Speaking about the track, the brothers say, “‘The End is the End’ is about the whirlwind of a relationship spiraling out of control. With the intensity of its peaks and the tranquillity of it finally ending, it celebrates closure from a toxic relationship.” 

“The End is the End” was written between Manchester and Toronto and recorded at the pair’s studios in Manchester. Additional drums were recorded live by collaborator Joey Waronker (Beck, Elliott Smith, Liam Gallagher), with notable additions from another close collaborator, KOZ (Kendrick Lamar, Dua Lipa).

The Flints’ ability to effortlessly coalesce genres and collaborate with diverse talents has garnered them some famous fans. With high-profile champions including Justice, Empire of the Sun, legendary French disco producer Cerrone, and Jean Dawson backing them thanks to previous releases such as ‘Serengeti’ and ‘Same Thing Every Day’.
