Genre-defying Duo MISSIO Delivers Poignant New Single “Time”
February 9, 2024 BY Emma Orland
Texas duo MISSIO unveils their latest single “Time,” a beautiful, simple ode to mindfulness and living in the moment in a world grappling with various challenges and uncertainties. The band, known for their ability to transcend traditional genre boundaries, has once again crafted a piece that defies categorization, offering a fresh and unique perspective on the power of music. Listen HERE and watch HERE.
MISSIO elaborates, “It’s philosophical in nature and the more that people listen to it, I think they’ll resonate with the darkness and overwhelming feeling they get. Even though the world is falling apart around us, we have the choice to live in each moment because ‘time is where you are.’”
“Time” follows what has been a monumental release schedule for MISSIO over the past year. The band has released the EP’s I Am Awesome, I Am High and I Am Sad, all culminating into a larger full-length album out later this year about the complete breadth of existence and the complexities of human emotion.

About MISSIO:
MISSIO materialized in 2015 evolving their indefinable sound across albums such as Loner [2017], The Darker the Weather // The Better the Man [2019], Can You Feel The Sun [2020], and VILLAIN [2022]. They accumulated over 1 billion streams, powered by bangers such as the Gold-certified “Everybody Gets High,” “Twisted,” “Bottom of the Deep Blue Sea,” “Sing To Me,” and “I See You.” They’ve sold out headline tours and graced the bills of festivals such as ACL & Lollapalooza, while earning acclaim from Atwood, Billboard, Rolling Stone, New Noise, Substream, and more. The band was recently featured on Alt Nation’s World Debut Advance Placement with “It’s Not My Fault” off their I Am Awesome EP. With the release of their forthcoming LP and worldwide tour dates in the works, MISSIO are continuing to cement themselves as a force to be reckoned with.
