Canadian Lofi Duo PANTōNE VU Announces ‘The Pink Series’ EP

Today, eccentric Canadian lofi duo PANTōNE VU announce The Pink Series, the fourth in their series of color-themed EPs. The launch couldn’t have come at a better time considering the recent box office Barbie craze. The Pink Series follows 2022 EPs The Blue Series and The Orange Series, as well as the 2023 EP The Green Series.
Also today, the duo shares their latest track entitled “Cosmo Pink.” The title brings to mind several possible homages, but they’ve chosen to let their listenership decide.
“The magazine?” the duo asks. “The drink? The universe? Maybe a bit of each. Although we’ll refrain from dishing our best beauty advice ever and focus instead on that trumpet refrain.”

Chromesthesia (sound-to-color synesthesia) is when sounds automatically and involuntarily evoke an experience of color. PANTōNE VU is a chromesthesia-curious partnership between two musicians looking to explore that intersection of color and sound. Blending found sound, live performance and modular synth-tinkering, the duo are in the midst of a mission to explore the musical trails in every corner of the color spectrum.
