Dispatch Release First New Song In Three Years Ahead Of Dispatch:Hunger
July 1, 2015 BY Nettwerk
Dispatch has released their first new song in over three years, “Bound By Love” (Bomber Records), which premiered on Billboard.com. The song is now available on digital service providers and streaming services, and 100% of proceeds from now until July 31st will support hunger initiatives that increase access to nutritious foods for underserved neighborhoods and help give those experiencing hunger a voice advocating for policy changes that will bring real results. The coalition of organizations involved includes the Center for Hunger-Free Communities and Witnesses for Hunger, the New York City Coalition Against Hunger, No Kid Hungry, and WhyHunger.

The song also comes ahead of “DISPATCH: HUNGER,” a two night event at Madison Square Garden geared to shine a light on the issue of hunger in the United States. The Saturday, July 11th date (w/ special guest The John Butler Trio) is sold out; tickets for Friday, July 10th (w/ special guest Dr. Dog) are still available. These shows come seven years since Dispatch became the first indie band to sell out the legendary venue.
Dispatch (Brad Corrigan, Pete Francis and Chadwick Stokes) has been known to use their platform – the stage – to raise awareness for humanitarian issues, including fundraising for the atrocities happening in Zimbabwe in 2007 and through their Amplifying Education campaign in 2011-2013.
DISPATCH:HUNGER at Madison Square Garden will be the only chance to see the band play live in North America in 2015, but there will be multiple ways for people to get involved and connect with the campaign, from now until showtime. Please visit the DISPATCH: HUNGER campaign website to learn more and stay up to date.
