William Fitzsimmons To Release ‘Live’ Album; Announces Tour Dates With Laura Burhenn (Of The Mynabirds)

On October 21, Singer/Songwriter William Fitzsimmons will release Live, a collection of live recordings taped from around the world. The 15-song live album includes recorded performances from Chicago, Cologne, Paris and Amsterdam. Live is a mix of songs from across Fitzsimmons’ extensive catalogue, with the exception of a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Everywhere.”

“I made this record because I wanted to try and translate some of the ubiquitous emotions of a live performance on to a recording; to capture a bit of that suspense and uniqueness that you only get in the presence of others. My hope remains the same as it always does: to provide the chance for someone to feel something strongly,” says Fitzsimmons.
This fall, Fitzsimmons hits the road with support from Laura Burhenn (of the Mynarbirds). The tour begins on Halloween day in St. Louis and wraps on December 4th in Evanston, IL with dates in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Boston and more. See full dates below.
