Sneaking in at the end of last year, we heard the first taste of new Hermitude with the release of “Stupid World” featuring Bibi Bourelly. Depicting a fresh sonic landscape for the Australian electronic duo, the single hints at a journey into new territories of their creative process, with much to be revealed in 2019.

“Stupid World” landed with a splash. Added quickly to high rotation on Australia’s triple j, it was described by Pilerats as “a welcomed new sound that’ll make you fall in love with them all over again.” It was paired with a luscious and breathtaking video shot in LA, premiering on Highsnobiety (US).

Now, “Stupid World” gets the remix treatment, courtesy of Daktyl and GANZ and their magic interpretations of the song. London-based Daktyl gets the festival crowd frothing with its pop synth bounce, buzzing energy and dramatic builds. The track premiered via Mixmag

No stranger to Hermitude, Amsterdam based producer GANZ previously flipped the switch on the Flume remix of “Hyperparadise.” His take on “Stupid World,” which premiered via Magnetic Magazine, adds new elements of thick tube synths and futuristic beats to take the song to new heights.
