Axel Flóvent Shares “Chaos (feat. Plàsi)”

“Chaos (feat. Plàsi)” is a delicate and honest piece born from the collaboration of two introverts, Icelandic singer-songwriter Axel Flóvent and labelmate Plàsi (out now via Nettwerk Records).
Following the release of his full-length debut, You Stay By The Sea, Axel returned to the studio to record a collaborative EP that features vocalists from around the world. “Chaos (feat. Plàsi)” is the latest track from the collection (details TBA). The track is also the first new music from Plàsi since last year’s effortlessly intimate EP, Where I Belong.
“’Chaos’ is about trying to prepare for a time in one’s life that is impossible to prepare for; so, embrace the chaos and go with the flow,” says Axel. “I started writing it in a very chaotic state of mind. Plàsi helped me make sense of it. I had the idea of writing with him for my little collaboration project for two reasons. We’ve connected quite a lot over these last few months while planning our tour, and I thought it would be great to release a song together. And of course, the main reason being I’m a big fan of his work!”
Plàsi adds, “When I first met Axel, I immediately felt it click between us. After writing together, it’s clear there’s a musical kinship. I can’t wait to share that kind of creative “love at first sight” moment with this track and later with the 2022 co-headline tour!“
