“…every once in a while, someone emerges out of the deep depths of the Internet and manages to create some magic. Our latest find? Harrison Brome, an 19-year-old Vancouver artist whose debut, “Fill Your Brains,” was one of the cleanest experimental, genre-hopping tracks
we’ve heard in a while.” – NYLON

19-year old brooding crooner Harrison Brome, shares debut EP Fill Your Brains. Featuring brand new songs “Boy” and “Sex Calls” along with previously released Spotify and blog favourites “Pools,” “Midnight Island,” “Gambling Hearts” and title track “Fill Your Brains,” the EP captures the gorgeous gloomy-vibe of Harrison’s hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia, filtering it out in the form of smooth, sensual, somber tracks. Premiering on The FADER, check out latest single “Boy” below.

Despite his young age, it’s clear that Harrison is wise beyond his years, having channeled his unique upbringing as a homeschooled teenager with a learning disability into a musical prodigy whose highly original tunes contain true depth and soul, reflecting all the highs, lows, emotion, and energy of youth. Raised on the sounds of MotownBill WithersNina SimoneOtis ReddingMarvin Gaye, and others, he spent the last couple of years crafting and perfecting his own James Blake-meets-The Weeknd style, recognizing the well of his unique youth as a touchstone for his music. “Everything I write is from personal experience,” says Brome “so it definitely helps if I’ve gone through some shit.”
In the coming weeks, stay tuned for more information regarding Brome.
