March 7, 2011 -- Nettwerk One Music (NW1) is pleased to announce the creation of a new publishing joint venture with Revelry Music Group in Nashville. The partnership combines Nettwerk international administrative and funding support for the creative team at Revelry--AJ Burton, Greg Gallo and LA-based finance partner Cory Schuelke. In addition, Nettwerk's film and TV licensing team will be representing the catalogue worldwide. The joint venture launches with three new Nashville writer signings: Thom Donovan, Anthony Smith and recent Grammy-nominee Jessie Jo Dillon.
Of the new partnership, Nettwerk's Mark Jowett says, "We are thrilled to be working with the Revelry partners. We believe their wealth of creative and strategic music experience in Nashville will complement NW1's strong international structure, and together we can offer excellent services for Nashville writers.” Blair McDonald adds, “Revelry’s creative abilities and their connections in the songwriter and A&R communities in Nashville make them ideal partners for NW1. We believe the combined strengths of NW1 and Revelry create a compelling proposition, providing local and international creative and administrative support for developing songwriters."
Revelry's AJ Burton comments, "We are excited to be partnering with Nettwerk. Their vast knowledge of publishing and forward thinking is the perfect match for Revelry. This is only the beginning to a very successful partnership." Greg Gallo adds, “Nettwerk has such a rich history of successful copyrights founded on putting creativity first. The NW1 team has some of the best ears and creative instincts that I've met. We look forward to working together to bring Anthony [Smith], Jessie Jo [Dillon], and Thom [Donovan] success both in Nashville and the global copyright market."
