Yukon Blonde Receives SOCAN No. 1 Song Award

Nettwerk One Publishing client Yukon Blonde received a SOCAN No. 1 Song Award for “Saturday Night,” which topped the CBC Radio 2 Top 20 chart last May 2015. The band launched their Canadian tour last Friday with their first ever headline show in Vancouver at the Commodore Ballroom.
The award was presented by SOCAN’s Barbara Sedun and Coralie Hummel at the Storm Crow Tavern in Vancouver on February 1. Also in attendance were CBC Radio 2’s James Booth, SOCAN board members Ed Henderson and Ben Mink, Nettwerk One’s own Craig Horton, Andrea Dyck, Nashlyn Lloyd and Amanda Hawkshaw (pictured below).
