NPM Welcomes Producer/Mixer Dave Fortman
After beginning in the music business as the guitarist in the seminal 90's band, Ugly Kid Joe, Dave quickly won praise and recognition as a Producer after the phenomenal success of the Grammy®-winning classic "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence reached #1 at Billboard Top 40. Dave produced "Bring Me To Life" as part of the band's 7 million+ selling breakout album, Fallen. Dave also collaborated with Evanescence on the Gold+ selling album, Anywhere But Home, as well as 2x Platinum selling and Billboard Top 200 #1 album, The Open Door, which included the smash hit, "Call Me When You're Sober".
Dave has since forged a highly successful career as a rock producer and mixer, having produced or mixed numerous #1 albums and singles, including such hits as the Platinum selling album, All Hope Is Gone from Slipknot, which reached #1 on the Billboard Top 200; the Gold+ selling album The Oracle from Godsmack, which also reached #1 on the Billboard Top 200; and the Gold+ selling album, Lost And Found from Mudvayne, which reached #2 on the Billboard Top 200 and included Mainstream Rock #1 single, "Happy?". Dave's other credits include albums and singles from 12 Stones, Simple Plan, Soil, Boy Sets Fire, Bif Naked, Phil Anselmo's Superjoint Ritual, and many others.
