Savoir Adore To Join Sea Wolf On Tour; "Dreamers" Single EP Out Today

“Savoir Adore combined two sounds of optimism: surging folk-rock chords and the solid foundation of an electronic beat.” – The New York Times (CMJ ’12 Live Review)

“[Savoir Adore] intuitively sharpen their dreamy dialogues with wiry, earthy hooks and defiant dance beats: the result is an ingenious marriage of esoteric artistry and easy accessibility.” – NPR “10 Artists You Should’ve Known in 2012”

Brooklyn-based duo Savoir Adore announces a 23-city U.S. tour supporting Sea Wolf, starting May 17th in Pomona, CA and wrapping June 21st in Los Angeles, CA. The band is currently in the midst of an east coast run of dates with On An On (all dates listed below). Their new album, Our Nature, will be re-released with one new, previously unreleased track called “Beating Hearts” on June 4th via Nettwerk Records.

“Dreamers,” the lead single from Our Nature, is officially out today as part of a 4-track EP, featuring two remixes of the album track and a cover of The Thompson Twins' hit song “Hold Me Now,” which premiered last week on NylonMag.com (here: http://bit.ly/14ZVtSC).

Formed in 2007, Savoir Adore—Paul Hammer and Deidre Muro--has become a fixture of Brooklyn’s indie scene. Following the release of The Adventures of Mr. Pumpernickel and the Girl with Animals in Her Throat and 2009’s In The Wooded Forest, the New York music press embraced the fantastic self-released Our Nature. The band spent much of last year on the road, both headlining and sharing the stage with artists like Stars, Jukebox The Ghost, Ra Ra Riot, Oh Land and Lights. They also played multiple showcases at music festivals like SXSW and CMJ. Along the way, Savoir Adore continued to catch the attention of tastemaker blogs, influential radio stations and lifestyle press including KCRW, WFUV, Billboard, MTV and The New York Times. They self-released Our Nature in the fall, and landed on NPR’s “10 Artists You Should Have Known In 2012” list. Shortly thereafter, Savoir Adore caught the attention of Nettwerk Records, who signed the band to a label deal in early 2013.
