BOY & BEAR ARIA-Nominated Album Out Today; Band Shares "Three Headed Woman" Official Music Video
Available today, Australia’s Boy & Bear release their sophomore effort and Nettwerk debut album Harlequin Dream.
Their bold and brave new album was recorded at Australia's legendary Alberts Studio, produced by Boy & Bear and ARIA-award winner Wayne Connolly and mixed by Seattle-based Phil Ek (Band Of Horses, Fleet Foxes, Built To Spill, The Shins, Sea Wolf, The Walkmen, Father John Misty).
From the current album, "Three Headed Woman" explores a fraying relationship with a slow drum beat and soulful delivery. "It's a simple breakup love song," admits lead singer/guitarist Dave Hosking. "I was hurt and I was on the road. The song was nothing but therapy for me. We really embrace that super simple structure.'" Directed by Melvin Montalban, the video was filmed on location in Hutchinson, Minnesota. Watch the official music video for "Three Headed Woman" above.
Already #1 in Australia, Harlequin Dream is nominated for several ARIA Awards, including Best Group, Best Rock Album and Producer Of The Year. This follows their award-winning debut LP Moonfire, which won five awards at 2011 ARIAs, including the coveted group and best album prizes for their acclaimed debut – Album Of The Year, Best Group, Breakthrough Album, Breakthrough Single and Best Adult Contemporary Album.
Boy & Bear is Dave Hosking (lead singer/guitars), Killian Gavin (vocals/guitars), Tim Hart (drums, vocals, guitars), Jon Hart (vocals/keys/mandolin) and Dave Symes (bass).
