Lily Kershaw Releases New Song "Now & Then" From Upcoming Sophomore Al…

"Lily Kershaw delivers a soul-baring single in 'Now & Then,' a grounded, raw, and stirringly clear account of the disparity between a relationship’s past and present realities…The song...is bold in its fragility, strong in its vulnerability, and honest in its nostalgia-fueled recollections.” — Atwood

"Lily Kershaw writes captivating ballads and sings them as if she’s the only person in this entire noisy city holding a conversation." -- Buzzbands.la

Los Angeles singer/songwriter Lily Kershaw shares “Now & Then,” the first new song from her upcoming sophomore full-length release out later this year.  Reminiscent of songs from her acclaimed debut album Midnight In The Garden, “Now & Then” is a minimalistic and intimate track that sees Lily weaves tapestries of sound with fingerpicking and tales of often unspoken, yet relatable truths.

Lily will join Joshua Radin and The Weepies on their co-headline fall tour presented by SiriusXM’s Coffee House.  The tour launches on Tuesday, October 8th at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, CAand ends Saturday, November 9th at the James K. Polk Theater in Nashville, TN.  Tickets are on sale now.

Last year, Lily released her EP, Lost Angeles, which received praise from the likes of Refinery29 (“Turn off the lights, and surrender to the pervasive melancholy of Lily Kershaw”), Nylon (“purely raw, authentic, and unfiltered”), and Collide (“Lily Kershaw shines a light through darkness on ‘Lost Angeles’”).

In song and spirit, Lily is an old soul, but upon initial meeting she's kinetic, ebullient, lively, and kind, quick with a joke and an infectious smile. Lily is a compulsive creator, she jots down melodies and lyrics as she’s wandering through her days. Born and mostly raised in Los Angeles, she offers an antidote to the long-mythologized Los Angeles glitz; she’s authentic, and honest, self-effacing and, above all, she is herself.

Stay tuned for more information on Lily’s upcoming sophomore album.
