The Paper Kites Share Two Outtakes From 'twelvefour'; North American tour begins March 7

The Paper Kites will join Passenger (aka Mike Rosenberg), beginning March 7 for a North American tour.  In advance of the tour, the band shares two outtakes from the latest LP twelvefour - "Holes" and "Breathing Fighting Love."  The entire album (including the two outtakes) was recorded in the hours of midnight and 4AM, exploring the idea that an artist’s creative peak lays in within hours.  Frontman Sam Bentley reversed his sleep patterns and penned over 30 songs during that time.

“It's hard to curate an album because every song serves a purpose and is intentionally placed to be a part of the journey of the record.  So, to swap out one song for another meant changing how the record would make the listener feel as a whole. So, unfortunately these didn't make it, but we still enjoy them.  In fact, we’ve played it on the road for the last few tours," - says Bentley.
