Joshua Hyslop Streams Full Album; Announces Canada Tour Dates

Joshua Hyslop - Where the Mountain Meets the Valley

In his early 20s,Hyslop is inspired by an array of artists - Damien Rice, William Fitzsimmons, Ryan Adams, Iron & Wine – but, has developed his own kind of artfully-rendered Americana.

In the coming days, Hyslop will be taking his music on the road. The stripped down performances highlight Hsylop’s innate ability to effortlessly write beautiful melodies layered on top of lovely harmonies.

Last month, Hyslop shared “Do Not Let Me Go,” a song written in a quasi-conscious state – the words that surface when you think they are your last. After enduring two near-death experiences, the lyrics are wrenching, intimate and redemptive. To Listen To A 1-Minute Telling By Hyslop (Followed By An Acoustic Performance), see link above.

Hyslop persevered and, four months later, returned home with a new perspective on life. He also had the raw material for the eleven songs that would become Where The Mountain Meets The Valley.

Stay tuned for more information in the coming days.
