Delerium Partners With MXDWN To Reveal "Days Turn Into Nights" Feat. Michael Logen

Influential Canadian outfit Delerium partners with MXDWN to share current single, “Days Turn Into Nights,” from the first studio album in six years, Music Box Opera – out October 30 via Nettwerk Records.

At the helm is founder Bill Leeb (Front Line Assembly, Skinny Puppy), who enlists the talents of collaborator Rhys Fulber and vocalist Michael Logen.

In the past, Delerium has featured strong female vocalists – having worked with Leigh Nash (of Sixpence None the Richer), Miranda Lee Richards, Butterfly Boucher, Emily Haines (of Metric) and the most commercially successful single, “Silence,” featured Sarah McLachlan. For “Days Turn Into Nights,” Leeb incorporates a male singer for the second time in 12 years. The last time Delerium brought in male vocals was on “Daylight,” featuring Matthew Sweet from 2000’s Poem and Greg Froese from 2006's Nuages Du Monde.

“I've always been fond of the female voice. But, I wanted to try something different and see what developed from it. Ultimately, it's about what's best for the song. Michael's vocals adds a unique element to the song and really helps to round out the album,” says Leeb.

As a member of industrial rock outfits Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly, Leeb has sold over 3 million units worldwide and over a million albums in North America with Delerium.

In the coming weeks, stay tuned for more details regarding the album.
