Angus Stones Films and Edits "Clouds Above" Video; Premieres at IFC

“Angus Stone is that rare breed of man who is both rustic and sensual, something that comes across with apparent ease in his music. In this gorgeously realized psychedelic video for “Clouds Above,” Stone finds beauty in rural India,” – IFC

Angus Stone partners with IFC (International Film Channel) to exclusively premiere the video for “Clouds Above,” from his current solo effort, Broken Brights (out now).

Angus filmed and edited the video himself while in India. It beautifully weaves together the sights and colors captured through his camera lens.

"I was living with a family in the hills of Southern India and I brought my camera along to film my stay. The one thing I spent the most energy on was sitting by the hornets' nest for hours, just waiting for them to hatch. When I think back, I was very much coming to life again through my journey to India; just as the hornets were seeing the world for the first time," says Angus.

Perhaps better known as half of the acclaimed sibling duo Angus & Julia Stone, Angus is the voice behind the pair's stand-out track "Big Jet Plane," which has nearly 12 million YouTube views. Broken Brights marks a departure for Stone, and not just from recording with his long-term musical co-conspirator and sister, Julia. The album, produced by Angus, is also proof that he can deftly shift between genres without compromising his signature sound.
