Nettwerk One Music/Revelry Music Group, along with the newly formed partnership with Neil Mason’s company Lake Gloria Music, have signed Nashville-based songwriter/artist Austin Jenckes to its ever expanding roster of talented songwriters, which includes Jessie Jo Dillon, Neil Mason (The Cadillac Three), Mike Fiorentino and Archertown.
From the rural town of Duvall, WA comes the voice of an honest soul. With lyrical roots in country and folk, and an unmistakably unique vocal style, Austin Jenckes is by definition a singer/songwriter. He has spent the better half of a decade paving his own way; starting with small local followings in sleepy coastal towns around the pacific northwest. In January of 2012, he moved from Washington State to Nashville, TN, where he recorded an independently released EP titled “An American Story.”
Austin Jenckes was a Top 10 finalist in Season 5 of NBC’s The Voice and is currently preparing for an extensive tour schedule in 2014, where he will formally introduce himself to new listeners with the intention of greeting every ear with the voice of an old friend.
Nettwerk/Revelry’s AJ Burton says, “Austin’s name came across my desk nearly three years ago, which resulted in a successful collaboration with Neil Mason. Austin has one of the best voices I’ve heard, and we are thrilled to have him on board.”
Ólafur Arnalds with award presenter Victoria Wood.
Nettwerk One Music composer Ólafur Arnalds was in London on Sunday evening, where he received the highest honour, winning the BAFTA (British Academy Of Film And Television Arts) for Original Television Music in recognition of his compositions for the crticially-acclaimed British TV series, Broadchurch.
On his Facebook page, Arnalds wrote of the win: ”Now that I’ve had a bit of time to process things. I need to give credit where credit is due. I was so nervous and shocked during my acceptance speech that I forgot anyone who wasn’t standing right in front of me. It’s pretty given that no one delivers four and a half hour of original music in the space of 4 months without some help. So I just want to give proper recognition to Bergur Þórisson, my genius little helper, who put just as many hours into this as i did myself. Also Viktor Orri Árnason, who not only transcribed and played the violin, but also provided some additional string arrangements in the later episodes. And of course Arnór Dan, who co-wrote and sung the end title theme. These people don’t get enough credit for their work, so here is to them! I am also in lifelong debt to the Broadchurch creative and executive team who gave me the freedom to express myself from the heart and encouraged me to be brave and bold. And yes, I will be doing Season 2."

Nettwerk One Music/Revelry Music Group have signed Nashville-based songwriter/producer Mike Fiorentino to its ever expanding roster of talented songwriters, which includes Jessie Jo Dillon,Neil Mason (The Cadillac Three) and Archertown.
Nettwerk/Revelry’s AJ Burton says, “I’ve worked with Mike for the past two years and watched him grow as a songwriter and producer. The timing could not be better to officially bring him into our growing family.”
Originally from the Tampa, FL area, Mike grew up attaining a love for the Beatles, early rap music and a healthy dose of country music. After moving to Nashville in 2007, he penned and arranged numerous songs for Hasbro, Inc. In 2013, he co-founded The Tennessee Recording Company (an independent record label/production team) with longtime friend and collaborator Kyle Cook, guitarist of Matchbox 20.
He’s recently began collaborating with Average Joes Entertainment production team, Phivestarr, writing for both Bubba Sparxxx and Colt Ford’s forthcoming albums. He loves writing with and developing new artists and doesn’t limit himself to any one genre. No matter what style of music, he believes in great songs that move people.
Nettwerk Music Group (NMG) announced today that AJ Burton has been named Director Of Publishing, NMG Nashville, to expand the presence of NMG’s publishing division, Nettwerk One (NW1).
Nettwerk’s relationship with AJ began in 2011 with the initiation of a partnership between NW1 and Revelry Music Group, an independent Nashville publishing company co-founded by Burton. Through the joint venture, NW1 and Revelry signed several successful Nashville writers, like Neil Mason and Jessie Jo Dillon. In his new roll with Nettwerk, Burton will seek new writing talent, as well as opportunities for current NW1 clients in Nashville.
“I’m thrilled to have AJ join the Nettwerk team,” says Nettwerk’s Blair McDonald. “He’s been a great partner to us through our joint venture with Revelry Music Group, and I look forward to working closely with him to develop our own roster of talented Nashville songwriters.”
Says Burton, “It’s been a fantastic 3+ years working closely with the Nettwerk staff. I am honored to have this opportunity to build Nettwerk’s Nashville presence and to continue my responsibilities with our shared Nettwerk/Revelry writers and artists.”

UK pop girl group Little Mix’s sophomore album Salute (Syco/Columbia) is proving to be a cross-over with its #1 debut on the US iTunes chart. Acclaimed Nettwerk One writer Shaznay Lewis contributed three tracks to Salute: “These Four Walls,” “Stand Down,” and “About A Boy.”
Lewis first worked with Little Mix on their 2012 debut DNA, which holds the record for highest-charting debut by a UK girl group in America at #4 on the Billboard Top 200. The track Lewis penned, “How Ya Doin” feat. Missy Elliot, became Little Mix’s fifth consecutive top 20 hit in the UK.

“Brandy Clark, [Kacey] Musgraves, Shane McAnally, Luke Laird, Jessie Jo Dillon and Mark Stephen Jones are among a friendly gang of co-conspirators who are finding fresh ways to write successful contemporary country songs.” – USA Today
Grammy®-nominated songwriter Jessie Jo Dillon has extended her publishing agreement with Nettwerk One Music/Revelry Music Group.
One of Nashville’s finest young writers, Dillon contributed three songs to Brandy Clark’s critically-acclaimed debut album 12 Stories:: “Crazy Women,” “Just Like Him,” and “Hungover.” In the past, she has also worked with such artists as George Strait, Rodney Atkins, Craig Morgan, LeAnn Rimes, Carly Pearce, Craig Campbell, Lorrie Morgan & Pam Tillis.
Acclaimed NW1 writer/producer Fredro recently returned from a very successful two-week writing trip to Japan, a market where he's recently seen a great deal of success, having extensively worked with artists such as Namie Amuro, Tohoshinki, and Ai.
Both Namie Amuro’s album Feel, which featured Fredro’s song “Hands On Me,” and Tohoshinki’s album Secret Code, featuring “Doushite Kimi wo Suki ni Natte Shimattandarō?,” were certified platinum in Japan. Feel was also the second most sold album worldwide, just behind Jay Z, on release week.
Although halfway across the world and submersed in an entirely different culture, Fredro was able to find a piece of home. Lil’ Eddie (seen above with Fredro), a Grammy nominated, multi-platinum American singer/songwriter who Fredro collaborated with on his album Emotional (“Miracles” and “Save Me From Myself”), released the aforementioned album in Japan at the end of October. Since then, Lil’ Eddie hit #1 on the Japanese iTunes Soul chart with his single “Miracles,” featuring TLC’s T-Boz. Previously, Lil’ Eddie had released three #1 albums in Japan.
"Just Like Him," a track co-written by Nettwerk One/Revelry client Jessie Jo Dillon for Brandy Clark's album 12 Stories, was included in NPR Music's round-up of the best songs of 2013. Says NPR's Ann Powers, "Her stories are…so intimate, they're full of homey details, and they really tell the regular lives of regular people in that great country way."
