Hit single "Hero" from Family Of The Year is officially certified Gold by Music Canada. The single reached #61 on the Billboard Hot 100, #57 on the Hot Digital Tracks chart and boasts more than 3 million views on Youtube.
While at radio, “Hero” peaked at #18 at Alternative Rock, #33 at AC and #42 at Top 40. Internationally, "Hero" reached the Billboard Top 10 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and continues to spread in Europe, while in the United States, it has sold over 148,000 digital tracks and reached #1 at Triple A and Top 10 at Alternative radio formats. Nettwerk Music Group congratulates its own Dalton Sim for his Pollstar Award Nomination in the category of Personal Manager of the Year. The nominees were selected by an anonymous collection of over 200 promoters, agents, managers and other touring professionals. International hit single “Let Her Go” from Mike Rosenberg, aka Passenger, is officially certified Platinum by the RIAA, seeing its highest sales week with over 130,000 tracks sold and surpassing the one million sales marker. The single also moves up to #12 on the Billboard Hot 100, #7 on the Hot Digital Tracks chart and remains in the Top 10 on iTunes and the Top 5 on Spotify. Additionally, album All The Little Lights, which cracked into the top 100 of the Billboard 200 two weeks ago after 59 consecutive weeks on the New Artist Chart, jumps from #80 to #27, giving the album its highest chart number since its August 2012 release.
The video for “Let Her Go” now boasts 125+ million views on YouTube and remains in the top 10 of the VH1 Top 20 Countdown. At radio, “Let Her Go” continues to climb across formats, now Top 5 at Triple A (#4), Top 10 at Hot AC (#7) and #31 at Top 40. The UK troubadour, who is in the midst of a sold-out tour across the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, is also about to see his Facebook page surpass one million likes.
The VH1 You Oughta Know Artist made his stateside national television debut in July on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, where he performed “Let Her Go” with Rickey Minor and the Tonight Show Band. Nettwerk Music Group is excited to announce the signing of UK-based duo Coves to its worldwide label and publishing rosters.
The highly buzzed about 60’s infused, indie psych-rock duo released their debut EP Cast A Shadow and follow up single “Last Desire” in 2012, and quickly won the support of BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, Nick Grimshaw and more, as well as attention from influential press outlets like NME, The Fly, Clash, Dazed & Confused and The Guardian, who featured Coves in its coveted “New Band Of The Day” column. They also peaked the interest of industry legend James Endeacott, who A&R’d The Strokes and signed TheLibertines. Endeacott signed the band to a management deal with his current company, Oh Mercy Management. Coves caught Nettwerk’s attention when they played to a ravenous crowd earlier this year at Latitude Festival.
Coves, comprised of singer Rebekah Wood and multi-instrumentalist John Rigard, will headline London’s Electrwerkz on November 7 to celebrate the official release of “Beatings” (November 11 in UK; North American release date TBD), the first single from the band’s forthcoming debut album. On Tuesday, September 17, Nettwerk catalogue artist Old Crow Medicine Show became the newest members of the Grand Ole Opry with a special induction by Opry members Marty Stuart and Dierks Bentley, as well as Opry Vice President and General Manager PeteFisher. During the pre-show press conference, Nettwerk Music Group's Mark Jowett (VP of International A&R/Publishing) and Danielle Romeo (Sr. Director of Publicity), surprised Old Crow with Platinum plaques commemorating 1 million tracks sold of the band's signature song "Wagon Wheel." The single originally appeared on the band's debut album, O.C.M.S., released in 2004 on Nettwerk.
Old Crow's Ketch Secor was also honored the previous evening at the Ryman Auditorium during a celebration of Darius Rucker's #1 hit "Wagon Wheel," which Secor and Bob Dylan penned.
In a business analysis of the independent sector of UK labels, Music Week reports that Nettwerk has the Top Indie Single and Album of the past 12 months with Passenger's international hit song "Let Her Go" and album All The Little Lights. Additionally, Nettwerk is the #4 Indie Label in the UK for singles and Top 10 for albums over the past 12 months, marking the strongest year for the UK division of the label since its inception.

Nettwerk Music Group is pleased to announce the signing of Ben Cooper, aka Radical Face, to its worldwide label roster.
With the self-released LP The Family Tree: The Roots, Ben set out to do something non-traditional and progressively conceptual. In 2011, The Roots was the first installment of a three-part, stand-alone album series that chronicles a fictitious, and sometimes otherworldy, 19th century family.
Radical Face will release the second installment to the series, The Family Tree: The Branches on October 22 via Nettwerk Records. Following the first album, certain instrumentations and melodies that represent a “family member” will reappear in the second album as a continuation of a story or descendent. The Branches will also progress in production using instruments that would have been more readily available in the era of the story set from 1860-1910.
“I like storytelling, and wanted that to be the focus. I looked up genealogy charts and studied some American history for a frame of reference, then pulled from personal experiences and put it all together,” says Ben. Such concepts and stories come naturally to Ben, whom before turning to music wrote fiction. He switched to music after a hard drive crash where he lost his two nearly completed novels.

Nettwerk is proud to announce the signing of singer/songwriter Lily Kershaw to its label roster. The Los Angeles-based artist first caught the attention of audiences when her original song “As It Seems” was featured in the 2012 season finale of CBS hit showCriminal Minds. A second song, “Ashes Like Snow,” was featured again in the season finale of the series in May 2013. Both tracks are currently available as singles on iTunes and will appear on Kershaw’s debut full-length album, Midnight In The Garden, set for release on September 24, 2013.
Midnight In The Garden, produced by John Fields, explores emotional landscapes, with heart clutching melodies that say what most people struggle to say themselves. The album takes root in the titans of folk music…those classic songsmiths who weave tapestries of sound with fingerpicking and tales of often unspoken truths.

In his role, Lewis will provide advice and guidance on the Group’s development as it further expands its activities as a multi-faceted music company. Lewis joins the board during an era of strong growth and achievements for NMG, which announced last month that it had raised $10.25 Million in equity growth financing to fund new and existing artist development, as well as catalogue acquisitions.
