Today, the official Lilith 2010 website launches, not only revealing the new look and feel of Lilith a decade later, but also the first set of cities that the traveling festival will be hitting--New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, London and more. Nettwerk Puts FUGA At The Core Of Their Digital Operation

Nettwerk Music Group has signed an agreement with Independent IP for the use
of their digital distribution platform called, FUGA. Nettwerk will use the service for
both the delivery and management of an extensive digital catalogue containing over
1,200 releases. FUGA will become Nettwerk’s central system to store, organize and
distribute content to more than 80 digital service providers worldwide.

and efficiently bring our Artists’ music to a worldwide online marketplace. FUGA

Award-Winning Mezzo-Soprano Katherine Jenkins Joins Nettwerk Management

Nettwerk Music Group is proud to announce the signing of award-winning Welsh mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins to its management roster. Jenkins will be co-managed by long-time Nettwerk manager Peter Leak and Tara Joseph, who has worked closely with Jenkins over the past two and a half years.

"I am delighted that Katherine has chosen to join us at Nettwerk,” comments Leak. “She is a thrilling performer and having achieved so much already, she is now poised to become the global superstar that she deserves to be. Katherine Jenkins' first album Premiere made her the fastest-selling mezzo-soprano to date; she later became the first British classical artist to have two number one albums in the same year. Her third album Rejoice reached #3 on the UK pop chart, and she also stands as the first female artist to win two consecutive Classical BRIT Awards. Jenkins has released five classical number one studio albums to date, selling 3,000,000 copies. She recently announced a major 11-date UK arena tour starting March 2010.

Three of the world’s foremost artist management companies announced today a significant evolution in their engagement with the artist community.

MAMA Group, Nettwerk Music Group and ATC have announced the formation of Polyphonic, which will invest directly into artist businesses, thereby offering an alternative to the traditional label-driven investment model of the music industry.

Founded with an initial financial commitment of more than $20 million for its first year of operation (and with significant additional capital available thereafter), Polyphonic will seek to partner with artists and their management, providing the capital to enable them to operate their own businesses, retain their own copyrights and take a fair share of any profits that are generated.
