As Tony Dekker and his Great Lake Swimmers continue to work on the follow up to 2009’s Juno-Nominated and critically-acclaimed album Lost Channels, the band has announced a handful of summer tour dates in Canada and the US. See below for full list of dates.
Additionally, GLS will re-release their first two albums, their 2003 self-titled debut and sophomore effort Bodies And Minds, on August 30 via Nettwerk.

Nettwerk recording artist Ladytron has released their new music video for lead single, “White Elephant,” from forthcoming studio album, Gravity The Seducer (September 13 in the US; September 12 in the UK). Directed by Michele Civetta, the music video was filmed at a chateau in Normandy, France and features a bevy of fascinating characters.
Ladytron are set to embark on a major North American fall tour in support of Gravity The Seducer. Joining them throughout the tour is SONOIO, a solo project of Alessandro Cortini (Nine Inch Nails). The month-long tour kicks off in Phoenix, AZ on September 22nd and wraps up in Miami, FL on October 15th. See dates below.
Last week, So You Think You Can Dance finalist Melanie danced solo to Angus & Julia Stone's cover of "You're The One That I Want" from the musical Grease. As a result, the track sold more than 4,800 copies this week, and both the 'Big Jet Plane EP' (which the cover initially appeared on) and the band's award-winninn sophomore album Down The Way landed on the Billboard Folk Chart this week. Nettwerk-managed artist and award-winning songwriter Nneka recently unveiled the title video (above) from her upcoming album Soul Is Heavy. The artist has started to reveal information about this anticipated release, but the official release date has yet to be officially announced.

Today, indie-pop trio Ivy releases a new track entitled “Fascinated” from their long-awaited fifth studio album All Hours, out September 20, 2011. To celebrate the album’s release, the NYC-based trio--Parisian-born singer Dominique Durand, Andy Chase and Adam Schlesinger--recently announced their first live show in five years at the Gramercy Theatre on Saturday, September 24 in their home city with special guest Tahiti 80.

National Geographic recently posted the above video featuring a behind-the-scenes look at Chadwick Stokes (Dispatch/State Radio) collaborating with the SierraLeone's Refugee All-Stars on the track "Coffee And Wine," which appears on the deluxe version of Stokes new solo album Simmerkane II.
Stokes released Simmerkane II last month (Ruff Shod/Nettwerk), which debuted at #18 on Billboard’s Heatseekers' chart. Inspired by Stokes’ freight hopping adventures across the U.S., the 10-track album was produced by John Dragonetti (of The Submarines) and includes guest appearances from Carly Simon, Matt Embree (Rx Bandits), The White Buffalo, and Blake Hazard (The Submarines).
In September, Stokes will embark on a 12-city solo tour (keep reading for dates).

Guster have just announced that they will release a new six-song EP called On The Ocean, out August 2 on their own Ocho Mule label. The EP features b-sides from their latest album Easy Wonderful, along with live acoustic tracks and remixes.
Additionally, the band will join Jack's Mannequin on a co-headline tour that kicks off August 2, the same day the EP becomes available.
