Following the release of their debut album Fuh Yeah, Waterloo, ON sibling trio Kidstreet just unveiled a brand new video for the song "Never Coming Back," which was directed by the band's Cliff Snyder and premiered earlier today on Exclaim!.
Fellow bandmate Edna Snyder told Exclaim! about the video, "When we were writing 'Never Coming Back,' I didn't think much about what my ex was supposed to look like, or what sort of man he might have been. As the video took shape though, he became a creepy, sort of nonchalant man. Whether we had intended it initially or not, the video ends up implying that what I'm never coming back to, is an abusive relationship. My good friend Zoran was kind enough to play the part. Quite a juxtaposition for him to play that role in this video!"
Critical darling, William Fitzsimmons appears on the December 13th double-CD, titled Please, Please, Please: A Tribute To The Smiths (out on American Laundromat Records). Amongst a collection of indie-rock luminaries – The Wedding Present, Built To Spill’s Doug Martsch, Throwing Muses co-founder Tanya Donelly, Telekinesis and Stars — Fitzsimmons covers the title-borrowing classic from The Smiths, “Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want.”
In the coming weeks, stay tuned for additional announcements, including previously unreleased recordings and a forthcoming North American tour.

“In The Air,” a collaboration between Grammy-nominated Morgan Page, Sultan + Ned Shepard and BT and featuring Angela McCluskey on vocals, reaches the #1 spot this week on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay Chart, jumping ahead of David Guetta & Usher’s hot new single, “Without You.” “In The Air,” is also hitting high notes at FMQB Dance Airplay (#2 for last 6 weeks), FMQB Internet Airplay (#1 for last 4 weeks) and Billboard Club Play (#6).
“In The Air” is Page’s first #1 hit, despite a long history of Top 10 successes. Believe--Page’s 2010 follow up to Elevate, which featured break-out single "Longest Road" and fellow chart topper "Call My Name"-- continues to be a fixture on the iTunes Dance Albums chart with two former Billboard Hot Dance Airplay hits: “Fight For You” and “Strange Condition.”
On October 11th, Page released In The Air, a six song EP of the lead single from his forthcoming 2012 studio album. In The Air includes several versions of the title track, in addition to remixes by Hardwell and Hard Rock Sofa.
Last week at Avalon Hollywood, Page performed “In The Air” and previewed other tracks from his upcoming album on the newly announced In The Air tour. Running through January 2012, the show delivered an enhanced experience for fans with computer-generated visuals, synchronized custom lights and additional interactive surprises. Yesterday, Indie-pop trio Ivy premiered their new music video for stand-out single "Fascinated" from their recently released album All Hours on RollingStone.com. Watch the video above.
Songwriter/bassist Adam Schlesinger told Rolling Stone, “We made this video with our good friend Adam Neustadter, whom we've all worked with before. The song has a bit of an old school synth-pop vibe, and so the video features some robot dancing, some vintage synths, and a guy with no face." (See whole feature on RollingStone.com HERE).
