The Pack A.D. is all things snarl, piss, vinegar, venom and vitriol – and expect nothing less when they head to the studios with famed Detroit producer Jim Diamond (Electric Six, The White Stripes, The Mooney Suzuki) for their forthcoming Nettwerk debut (Winter 2014).

Comprised of drummer Maya Miller and belligerent guitarist/vocalist Becky Black, The Pack A.D. is an epically fierce explosion of punk, psych- and garage rock. The revered duo formed in 2006 and established themselves as an integral part of Canada’s soundscape with the releases of Tintype (2007), Funeral Mixtape (2008) and We Kill Computers (2010). For their last output, Unpersons (2011), they teamed up with Diamond, earning a 2013 Juno nomination in the category of “Breakthrough Group Of The Year.”

When asked for a quote regarding the signing, the brilliantly wicked Miller sums it up best with Kool Moe Dee lyrics, “to say rock is not work, is ludicrous. Whoever said it, must be new to this. When you hear me, you'll compare me to a prophet for profit. Not merely putting words together for recreation, each rhyme's a dissertation. You wanna know my occupation? I get paid to rock the nation. I go to work.”
